Emerald’s Jewels stole the show with Anthony Cacace knocking out Mickey Coveney and ‘Sugar’ Ray Ginley, Mark Ginley also receiving wins on the night. Joe ‘ The Faith’ Hillerby unfortunately had to retire due to an injusred shoulder allowing Lee Murtagh to take away the belt for becoming the Irish Light Middleweight Champion.

This was a fantastic night of boxing in Belfast and we are looking forward to our next bill in Dublin.
Emerald Promotion’s Debut Bill - Ireland’s Boxing Gems, Emerald Road House, 25th February 2012
The entertainment may have been cut short in The Emerald Roadhouse last night (25th February), but such was the manner of victory for most of the home fighters celebrations must have carried long into the night.
The first Irish pro show of the year was a hit to say the least and despite lasting just over an hour was certainly value for money.
Four of the six bouts didn’t make it past round one, as Willie Casey, Raymond Ginley, Joe Hillerby and Anthony Cacace made redundant the referees score card by taking their opponent’s out before the second bell.
